I don't very often....EXPOSE.....myself. It doesn't bother me to show my emotions.....I never fail to kiss my children/step children, and Paula....and tell them that I love them.....even in public. I do this, because I know that it may be the last time I ever see them......and I don't like the word "step" in reference to my children.....Leigh & Chuck, Scott & Luchi, Vilas & Amy, and April & Jonathan......ARE my children.....I told Leigh the other day that I am a BLESSED man.....a wonderful wife, children, church, church family, friends, a wonderful business partner.....I am blessed and we have such wonderful children!!!. And.....I don't want people to feel sorry for me because I am....... so blessed! GOD IS GOOD!!! But when talking to Leigh a while ago.....I broke down......I told her my strength was waning......I have tried to stay strong for our children and for Paula's mother, Mrs Sanford (Laverne), so please pray that our God in heaven, the Maker and Controller of the universe.....will strenthen me....so that I will be the physical strength that Paula needs.......when she comes home. Thank you for your continued support. Tommy
Tommy, the Guidepost's devotional Sat. quoted a billboard that said "Sometimes things have to be believed in order to be seen." I am BELIEVING in a full recovery for Paula and look forward to SEEING it soon. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. This blog is a wonderful way to keep up with Paula's miracle in progress. ReplyDeleteTommy,
ReplyDeleteJesus said,"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Mat.11:28-30). I know your faith is strong, and I know He will help you carry your load. Continue to claim that promise. The rest of us will continue to pray and believe right alongside you.
Andy
Tommy,
ReplyDeleteWe know how hard all of this has been - just remember you and Paula mean so much to so many people. We are here for you whatever you need. PLEASE don't hesitate to let us know what you need or want us to do. We really mean that. After we saw y'all Saturday night we said what a good man you are and it is so obvious how much you love and care for Paula. I can't wait to be able to tell her how truly blessed she is to have you. Just the way you looked at her and were so attentive to her. We all have a lot we can learn from you.

Tommy,You are truly one the most miraculous men I know.My favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 "We can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens us" Tommy I'm claiming that verse for you as well.We are in prayer for you both and looking forward to you both being back home and with us at church.Love,Kenny & Yvonne
ReplyDeleteTommy, you touched my heart with that post. I know how you feel in reference to your "step" children because I feel the same way. I pray that God will indeed strengthen you and bring "times of refreshing in the Presence of the Lord". Much love, Vicki and Sammy
